Professional, creative, and passionate about hair, I have been diligently honing my craft since the age of 13. Since graduating from Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Cosmetology program, I have traveled to key areas to learn various techniques and mannerisms that have proven to be useful in advancing my own personal styling methods, allowing me to develop a diverse catalog of creations as a Dynamic Master Hairstylist.



Healthy hair is the foundation of all of my hair styles and I have over 14 years of professional experience with maintaining and styling all hair textures and lengths. I aim to please each client who trusts me to apply my own selective ideas and suggestions in order to provide the end result of a unique and lasting style.



I have had the distinct pleasure of managing my own salon for the past 10 years. Formerly Style Me Up Hair Studio, I am currently functioning as the proud owner of Destyn’s Salon, in honor of my son and highlighting the divine meaning of his name, “preordained: to determine beforehand”.
